Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas-Various Artist Interpretation

Here are versions of my favorite Christmas Song "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas."(I got teary eyes everytime I hear this song, don't know why (goose bump!) Watch & Listen these great artists expressed themselves on this beautiful song. Take note of their styles, melodic inprovisations (Figure Changes), Harmonic Improvisation (Chord Substitutions) & their own kind of rhythm being applied. There are lot of things can be learned. Sit back, relax & feel the spirit of Christmas...Happy Holidays!!!!

From the motion picture Meet Me In St. Louis, here is Judy Garland singing "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas"

A tribute to the best Christmas movie ever made - "It's A Wonderful Life" with Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed. If you've never seen this classic, well then you're just missing out...

And of course the song is from Simone from her Christmas CD "On a Night Like This" from 2005. A natural fit.

Simone was only thirteen-years-old when she recorded this song and just a twinkle in her grandparents' eyes when the film was released. :)
